Background
The Department of Agricultural Education, Communications, and Leadership at Oklahoma State University offers a Bachelor of Science degree in agricultural leadership. Major requirements include coursework designed to develop knowledge related to leadership. The curriculum includes the following topics: best practices in leadership, personal leadership development and leadership theory. Additionally, students have the opportunity to develop an area of specialization related to agricultural leadership through the selection of 18 enrichment hours.
