Amy R. Gazaway

Amy Gazaway has served as the Career Development Coordinator for the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources since January of 2000; she provides guidance and resources to undergraduate students, graduate students and alumni in their career exploration, career planning, and “next step” preparation efforts for continuing education or the workforce and also facilitates employer recruitment of CASNR students. Ms. Gazaway advises a volunteer staff of peer career educators, the CASNR Career Liaisons, and contributes to collaborative student services initiatives managed by the coordinators of CASNR’s Student Success Center. Ms. Gazaway earned her Bachelor’s degree from CASNR with a double major in Animal Science and Agricultural Education and her Master of Science in College Student Development from Oklahoma State University. She has also earned recognition as a Global Career Development Facilitator (GCDF); human resources generalist; educator and facilitator for StrengthsQuest™, True Colors™, and The Leadership Challenge™; and as an etiquette consultant. Prior to serving as Career Development Coordinator, Ms. Gazaway served the University as an undergraduate admissions representative and taught as an agricultural education instructor for Tecumseh Public Schools.
