Oklahoma State University

Graduate Programs

The College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources offers students both a Masters and Doctorate Programs as a means of furthering their education.

Students have two ways to earn a Masters degree, either the Master of Science (M.S.) or the Master of Agriculture (M.Ag.). The M.S. option allows students to obtain their Master's via the traditional route through a combination of coursework and research. The M.Ag. Program on the other hand offers students flexibility in curricula that permits special emphasis and application in some areas and broader overall knowledge in others. It is important to note that the M.Ag. is considered a terminal degree, and is not suggested for those students desiring to continue their education upon completion. Additional information regarding specific programs and admissions requirements and procedures may be found on the OSU Graduate College website and websites for specific departments.
