CASNR Student Involvement

The College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources advocates the "total college experience" for students, including not only attending classes but also engaging in student activities and organizations.  Involvement in student activities and organizations benefits students by providing opportunities for students to:

  1. Meet other students with similar interests

  2. Connect with and contribute to their new collegiate community

  3. Develop many skills desired by employers, such as teamwork, interpersonal communication skills, and leadership abilities

  4. Build a professional network through career-related contacts with other students and industry professionals, and

  5. Have fun!

CASNR students at Oklahoma State University are presented with numerous opportunities to be involved on campus in student organizations, activities and teams. In CASNR alone, there are more than 35 student clubs and organizations. In addition to these clubs and organizations, there are also numerous judging and competition teams in CASNR in which students have the opportunity to participate. Campus-wide, there are more than 400 student clubs, organizations and activities available to students.  The provided pages within this menu showcase the opportunities for involvement that are available to students and how to take advantage of those opportunities!
