CASNR Ambassadors
The CASNR Ambassadors are a select group of agricultural students dedicated to enhancing the image of and interest in the agriculture industry, the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources and Oklahoma State University. CASNR Ambassadors serve the agricultural and natural resources industries in Oklahoma in a variety of capacities. These include hosting functions to educate students about career and educational opportunities in the industry, hosting prospective students on the OSU campus and speaking on behalf of the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources to various groups.
The Ambassadors participate in numerous activities across the OSU campus, Stillwater community, state of Oklahoma and nation. Some activities include hosting individuals/groups who are visiting campus, attending agriculture related trade shows, setting up and working at the College booth at selected events, hosting companies who are on campus, meeting and greeting special guests and alumni of the College, and visiting and speaking to selected high schools in the state. The Ag Ambassadors also host the Future Ag Leaders Conference attended by 50 high school juniors and seniors interested in leadership and agriculture each November.
