Advising & Enrollment
Faculty and staff work closely with students in and out of the classroom to create a family atmosphere in the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources (CASNR). Our advisers are faculty members who not only advise, but also teach courses, and are professionally involved in their fields of study. Faculty advisers assist students in planning an individual program of study that considers student interests, background and future plans. Additionally, most have an "open door policy" and are receptive to students stopping by when they need academic help or have personal challenges. Faculty believe it is not only their job to help students select courses, but also assist in total student development--from leadership development to career and life planning.
